We researched many bloodlines whilst searching for a new male Corso and the one found to have all the right attributeswas the “Dyrium” line. It was brought to our attention that Simona Tanzarella of Del Rosso Malpelo had recently bred a litter of puppies whose parents were from the Dyrium line and we arranged a viewing. We had met Simona in 2002 at a show in Rapallo, Italy and had been impressed with her dogs. She introduced us not only to the pups but also their dam, Ch. Reproducer Naomi . The sire, Archimede dei Rei de Roma, (Junior Champion of San Marino) was competing in an international show in Bologna during our visit, which allowed us to see him first hand and speak with his breeder, owner and Italian judge Danillio Giorgio of Rei de Roma. Archimede is a full brother to some very important Cane Corsos such as Barone dei Re di Roma, Baddo dei Re di Roma , Baronessa dei Re di Roma, Appollonia dei Re Di Roma. Archimede’s sire is Yurak, Italian Champion and Champion Reproducer, sire too many Champion Corsos bred by Vito Indiveri, Dyrium kennels and now owned by Elmi Kennels.

After viewing Naomi, Archimede and the puppies we decided to purchase a black brindle male who we called Carlo. Due to UK importation laws, Carlo had to stay in quarantine kennels for 6 months. He is no worse for that experience and has a wonderful temperament and a great love of people.

We have a great deal of gratitude for Simona Tanzarella, for giving us the oppurtunity to bring a wonderful Cane Corso, from one of the best Italian bloodlines, into the UK.

Carlo passed away a few years ago due to old age, however as we store all of our dogs semen whilst they are in their prime, we are thankfully still able to still use him in future breeding programmes.

Quincy was imported from Porta Dell Inferno kennels in Germany.  He is a dog with a great personality, fantastic temperament and incredible working ability. He has lots of stamina and really could go all day, there is no tiring this boy out. His intelligence levels are extremely high, he is eager to please and he loves to learn new things and go to new places.

His pedigree contains a number of famous dogs that we admire enormously including Paco, Jones, Akira, Tequila, Arras, Ettore, Dauna and Birillo as well as a number of dogs from rustic lines on his dam's side.

Quincy retired and went to live with his daughter Lucy very local to us.  Like Carlo, Quincy's semen was stored as a youngster so he will still feature in our breeding programme moving forward.

After visiting Del Agreste Cane Corso in Iowa in 2010, I was extremely impressed by Will's wonderful pack of beautiful Corsos, they were absolutely amazing examples of the breed with exceptional temperaments. Will kept his dogs very much like I keep mine, in a stable pack environment where everyone gets on with everyone else and lives in Corso harmony. I kept in regular contact with Will and gushed over many a picture of his lovely puppies and adult Corsos for the rest of 2010 and 2011.

In 2012 we were offered an amazing opportunity, to have a beautiful brindle boy from Will’s “B” litter parents of which were Tar Heel’s Adam and Betty R Manfredi. We didn’t wait to be asked twice, this was a chance in a lifetime opportunity! The flights were booked and we headed out to Iowa to meet Bishop. We were thrilled to meet our wonderful “smiler” Bishop. He is an amazing dog and took to us straight away.

When the time came to leave Iowa and bring Bishop home, he was awesome. He took the long journey in his stride, flew to the UK absolutely fine and once home literally fit right in with the rest of the pack.

Bishop is an amazing addition to our kennel. He is a ray of sunshine, always happy, smiling (literally), wagging his tail and very playful, he has an amazing temperament as well as being a truly stunning example of the breed.

Bishop’s litter mates have excelled in the show ring. His brother Del Agreste Bin Up To No Good At Sno-Storm is a Grand American Champion, made the final cut at the 2013 Westminster Dog Show and is currently 5th best Corso in the USA which is a huge achievement at such a young age, he also received the title of CCAA puppy of the year 2012.

Bishop’s beautiful sister Biagia Del Agreste is an American KC Champion and UKC Champion and also has Schutzhund titles.

Black Jack Del Agreste, Bishop’s brother in Canada is both American and Canadian Champion.

Bishop’s half brother Achoo Del Agreste is in my opinion, the most beautiful Corso in the world. He is also a Grand American Champion.

Huge thanks to Will and family for giving us such an amazing opportunity, to bring an outstanding boy to the UK and add new and unique bloodlines to our kennel.

Ilya is a huge boy with massive bone, great big head and an even bigger heart.  Amazing with his human and canine family but also a fantastic imposing guard dog.

At the 2013 Cane Corso Show here in the UK he wowed the crowds with his size, his presence and won Best Cane Corso, a proud moment for me.

We took him on holiday with us to the Lakes and people from all over the world stopped us to take pics, even on the top of a mountain lol!

One of a kind, my black pearl, my wonderful Illy.....

Sergei is a dog we are very proud to own.  He is a huge boy at 66 kilos with an exceptional presence about him, a real head turner for sure.

His lines are very interesting and include some fabulous dogs from top Polish, Ukrainian and Italian show kennels combined with more traditional dogs from Southern Italian lines.

At his first show under judge Renzo Carosio he was awarded an "Excellent" rating, Best Male in show and received a fabulous critique which we were very pleased with.

A year later, at his second show, under another judge accredited with FCI, he was awarded another "Excellent" rating, Best Male in show and also Supreme Best in show.

As well as being an exceptionally beautiful boy he also has a fantastic working ability and lots and lots of drive.
