TELESTO CANE CORSO

Allegra

In summer 2009, our beloved Allegra was diagnosed with cancer of the chest cavity and given just weeks to live, we were devestated.  Against all odds she went on to last 5 months with just one bad day in that whole time, her last day on this earth.  The day after her 8th Birthday, Allegra peacefully passed away.

Allegra was a dog with a great love of life, always on the go even in her last few months, she had a true Corso character and was an important part of our family.  She was a dog that all our other Corsos looked up to, even the boys, she really was the queen bee.

When we were given the opportunity for our dogs to donate blood for the Pet Blood Bank in the UK, which gives veterinary professionals immediate access to blood products allowing lifesaving blood transfusions, we jumped at the chance and Allegra became an important donar and appeared on all the promotional material even managing to get her picture in the National newspapers.

She was an important dog and one that we will always remember.  Allegra we miss you lots xx
