Sienna was purchased from Morgan Ivaldi of Morgan Cane Corsos in Genova, Italy.  During a visit to Italy in 2002 we had been very impressed with Morgan’s dogs and decided that we would wait and purchase a puppy from a planned litter out of Nuccio and Lilly which would be available in 2003.  The wait was well worth it.  We flew out to Italy once the pups had been born and saw them at just 5 days old.  There were a few females that caught our attention and we asked Morgan to watch them grow and develop and select us a puppy with good angulation, head type and temperament.  Morgan sent us photographs on a regular basis but we decided to leave the final decision on which female to send us up to him.  In May 2003, Sienna arrived in the UK and started her 6 months in quarantine.  She is a wonderful example of the breed with excellent head type, body type and temperament.  She has endless amounts of energy and loves to go walking or play for hours with her ball.   Many thanks to Morgan for selecting us a wonderful female. 

In 2005, Sienna unfortunately got a pyometra.  This was treated with strong antibiotics and our vet and ourselves were still hopeful that Sienna could be used in our breeding programme.  Unfortunately, in 2006, the pyometra returned and Sienna had to be spayed.  We were devestated because she was so beautiful and would have given a lot to the UK Cane Corso population had she had a litter but at the same time we were relieved that Sienna had come through the pyometra without major problems because so many dogs don't.  Sienna now lives with Mick and Jan and family and Rosco (Carlo x Luna son).
